About Bullet Basecamp

Three decades of passion for Royal Enfield motorcycles and epic adventures. Discover our journey and meet the team behind your next great ride.

The Origin Of Bullet Basecamp

Long before Pokhara became a hub for adventure seekers, one man quietly built a name that would echo through Nepal’s motorcycling community. Raju Kunwar, a self-taught mechanic with a deep passion for Royal Enfields, opened the very first Enfield workshop in Pokhara, a modest space known today as Raju Bullet Surgery.

In those early days, travelers riding across the Himalayas would find their way to his workshop, often by word of mouth. They came with worn-out bikes, broken parts, and stories from the road. What they found was more than a mechanic. Raju dai not only repaired their machines, often without modern tools, but also taught them how to care for their bikes, explained what went wrong, and invited them into the culture of riding in Nepal. The garage became a meeting place, where tools clinked, beers were shared, and lifelong friendships were made.

Now, that spirit has passed into the next generation.

The workshop that once fixed bikes under trees is now the foundation of Bullet Basecamp, a family-run motorcycle tour and rental company. With Raju’s son continuing the craft as both mechanic and certified tour guide, we’ve carried the legacy forward, blending old-school mechanical mastery with modern-day Himalayan adventure.

We still fix bikes with the same hands-on care and pride. But now, we also lead guided Royal Enfield tours into the heart of Nepal, for riders who want more than just a machine; they want connection, challenge, and the kind of ride that sticks with you long after the engine stops.

Our story is rooted in passion, precision, and the belief that riding isn’t just about the road it’s about the people who keep it alive.

Welcome to Bullet Basecamp. This is where the journey begins.
